Registered Nurse - NOC 12 Hour Shift

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) assesses, implements, and evaluates care needed by assigned patients under the direction of the licensed physician. The RN is knowledgeable about principles, theories, and current methods and techniques of nursing practice. Utilizing the nursing process, the RN collaborates with the patient, patient's family member(s)/significant others, professional peers, and other members of the healthcare team to individualize patient care. Additionally, the RN directs nursing support staff in the provision of patient care according to the standards of nursing practice, administrative, and departmental policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assess and implement nursing care for assigned patients.
• Evaluate patient care and outcomes in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Direct and supervise nursing support staff in patient care tasks.
• Ensure adherence to nursing standards and departmental policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a clinical specialty preferred.
• Active PA Registered Nurse License required.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Multi-State Compact RN License required.
