Schedule

Nights - 12-hour shifts: 7 PM to 7 AM, with 36 and 48 hours available per week. Requires 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.

Job Description

Join our team in the West 6 Med/Tele unit, which features 37 beds. This role involves providing quality patient care in an acute medical-surgical/telemetry environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical/telemetry environment.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and telemetry readings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using EPIC.
• Float to other units and take on charge duties as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active New York RN license.
• NIH and AHA BLS certifications required.
