Step Down RN - 3x12 Nights

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Step Down RN to join our team for the night shift. The ideal candidate will work in a lower acuity step down unit, providing care primarily for cardiac patients and managing post-surgical and medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a step down unit.
• Monitor patients, manage care, and perform telemetry.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and perform necessary procedures.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, specifically in a Step Down or Med-Surg/Telemetry unit.
• Current RN license in West Virginia or compact state.
• Current certifications in BCLS and ACLS.
• Ability to read telemetry strips and provide appropriate interventions.
