Day shift, 4x10 hours (07:00 - 17:30), with potential weekend and holiday shifts as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Nurse with focused expertise in trauma and robotics. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in handling complex surgical procedures across various specialties, including thoracic and vascular.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including general, gynecological, urology, and trauma.
• Function independently and proficiently with the Davinci xi and DV5 robotic systems.
• Maintain proper safety and patient care protocols, ensuring adherence to unit standards.
• Participate in on-call rotation, responding promptly to emergencies.
• Engage in ongoing education and training as necessary to remain current in practice.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant surgical nursing experience required.
• Level I trauma experience preferred, Level II trauma experience required.
• Experience with robotic surgeries in general, gynecological, thoracic, and urology specialties.
• Current RN licensure with no license hits accepted.
• Certification in AHA or ARC for Basic Life Support is required.
