Schedule

Day shift: 4x10 hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM. On-call required one weekend per month, from Friday 6:30 PM through Monday 8 AM.

Job Description

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will perform a variety of procedures using fluoroscopy, Philips, Siemens, and Ultrasound equipment. Candidate must have experience with special and scrub procedures, as well as a focus on patient safety and care. The position requires a thorough understanding of interventional radiology practices and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a sterile field for various interventional procedures.
• Assume roles in patient care during procedures, including the use of various imaging technologies.
• Assist in the preparation and administration of contrast media and medications as needed.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, adhering to infection control guidelines.
• Collaborate with the medical team to provide comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A valid New Jersey license (may be obtained prior to start)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology.
• Current certifications in ACLS and PALS preferred.
