Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30).

Job Description

The Cardiac Care Registered Nurse will provide care to patients within a 36-bed unit specializing in cardiac interventions such as cardiac surgery, coronary artery stent placement, and pacemaker implants. The nurse will work with a patient population that includes young adults and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient ratio of 1:6.
• Float to units of equal or lesser acuity as needed.
• Administer medications and monitor patients post-cardiac interventions.
• Perform essential nursing duties including tracheostomy care, IV management, and interpreting dysrhythmias.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required, with prior travel nursing experience preferred.
• Certifications: BLS required; NIHSS preferred.
• EPIC charting experience is required.
