Interventional Radiologic Technologist - AM Shift

Schedule

8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 4 days a week (Monday - Friday) with a flexible day off. On-call requirements include:

• Every 4th weekend from 5 PM on Friday until 7 AM on Monday
• 1 evening shift per week from 5 PM - 7 AM

Job Description

Assist proceduralists during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular and neuro-interventional cases while scrubbing side by side with specialty proceduralists. This role requires strong knowledge of floor and ceiling-mounted fluoroscopic modality machines and the ability to critically think during complex cases.

Responsibilities

• Identify, retrieve, and circulate complex products during interventional procedural cases.
• Operate power injection of iodinated contrast media devices during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention measures while setting up procedural trays for case loads.
• Document in electronic medical records and send images to Sectra/PACs systems.
• Manage groin access post-intervention.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3-5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or a Cardiovascular Technologist.
• Current New Jersey (NJ) radiographic licensure.
• BLS from an approved AHS credentialed American Heart Association or a BLS accredited program with skill demonstration.
• Current Radiography (R) certification with ARRT.
