Registered Nurse - Operating Room

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Varied shifts including 9-5, 11-7, 1-9, and 3-11. Weekend hours are required every other week, with on-call duties expected.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room will provide high-quality nursing care to all patients undergoing surgery. The role will involve working in a Level 1 Trauma setting and requires the ability to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room.
• Assist in all phases of surgical procedures.
• Monitor vital signs and ensure patient safety during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to provide optimal patient care.
• Maintain sterile environment and adhere to safety policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN licensure in Pennsylvania.
• ACLS and BLS certification.
• At least 1 year of experience in an Operating Room setting is preferred.
• Experience with robotic surgeries is an advantage.
