Schedule

4x10 hours with alternating days off from 06:00 to 16:30. On-call requirements include 1-2 call days per week with a 30-minute response time and weekend coverage every 3rd or 4th weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Surgical Technologist with open heart surgery experience. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment, and collaborating with the surgical team to provide quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field during open heart surgical procedures.
• Assist in the positioning and preparation of patients for surgery.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize surgical instruments and equipment safely and effectively.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and procedures to maintain safety and hygiene standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CVOR.
• Certification: BLSE (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers) required.
• EPIC experience is required.
• NBSTSA certification required for surgical technologists.
