Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Neonatal care, and must be able to float as needed across various departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn settings.
• Perform special procedures including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and circulating in the operating room.
• Administer medications including blood/blood products and manage epidural and PCA pumps.
• Support high-risk antepartum and labor & delivery patients.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort while adhering to infection control protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, including Postpartum and Newborn care.
• Active compact license or WA state license required.
• Required certifications: AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, NRP, and ACLS.
