Night shift: 19:00 - 07:00 with rotating weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Nurse to join our team. This unit specializes in caring for pediatric patients in critical condition, particularly those with congenital heart disease and post-operative care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of compassion, meticulousness, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to ICU and step-down level pediatric patients.
• Manage and monitor patients with arterial lines, central lines, and other critical devices.
• Perform essential procedures including central line and arterial line placement, intubation/extubation, and post-operative recovery.
• Participate in codes and ECMO cannulation and decannulation as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a staff nurse in Pediatric CICU/CVICU.
• Experience with caring for patients with congenital heart disease and post-operative management.
• Required certifications: PALS, BLS.
• Preferred: At least 2 years of Pediatric CICU/CVICU experience and experience with neonatal cardiac patients.
