Job Description

The responsibilities of this position include labor and delivery, postpartum care, and working in the newborn nursery. Nurses are also tasked with newborn care pre-transition.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for laboring mothers with a patient ratio of 1:1.
• Support postpartum patients and those in the couplet care unit.
• Assist in the newborn nursery and pre-transition newborn care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in OB, labor & delivery, and nursery required.
• Required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, HWC, NRP, PALS.
• Valid RN licensure required to work in Tennessee.
