Registered Nurse - STEMI/Stroke Coverage

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

• Option 1: 4 - 10 hour shifts from 6:30 AM - 5:30 PM
• Option 2: 5 - 8 hour shifts from 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM
• 10-15 on-call shifts a month for STEMI/Stroke coverage

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide critical STEMI and Stroke coverage. The ideal candidate will hold current licensure and certifications as required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients experiencing STEMI or Stroke.
• Collaborate with medical teams to ensure high-quality care.
• Participate in rotation for on-call shifts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• NIHSS certification required.
• Obtain and maintain a valid Nursys license.
• Completion of Prime Basic Pharmacology Exam.
• Completion of Prime Basic Rhythm Interpretation Screening.
• Comprehensive Personal Health History documentation required, including vaccinations and testing (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, TB Test).
• Driver's License/State ID.
• Pass a Prime Criminal Background Check, and Drug Screening.
• Prime Skills Checklist verification.
