Job Description

Join a dynamic emergency room team providing essential care. The facility features a triage area with a separate Fast Track, operating daily from 11 am to 11 pm. You will work within an efficient ER that averages a patient stay of approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes, with a very welcoming environment for travelers.

Responsibilities

Typical ER responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Providing care for typical ER patients such as chest pain, respiratory failure, and abdominal pain.
• Managing a pediatric patient population, and handling occasional trauma cases.
• Working collaboratively with a team of 3 physicians during peak hours and additional NP's & PA's.
• Maintaining patient safety and quality of care with ratios of 1:4 in the main ER and 1:5 in the lower acuity area.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Registered Nurse license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications are preferred (TNCC can be taken at the traveler’s own expense).
