Registered Nurse - Night Shift, Acute Care

Schedule

12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM with rotating weekends and holidays.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive nursing care in an acute care setting. Responsibilities will include conducting assessments, managing wound care, catheter care, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and develop patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Manage wound care and catheter care activities.
• Support patients through various orthopedic procedures.
• Document patient progress in EPIC accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current WV or compact state nursing license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA).
• Experience using EPIC electronic health records system.
