Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This fast-paced, high-acuity cardiac unit requires an individual who can thrive in a challenging environment and is committed to delivering excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the PCU.
• Monitor vital signs and administer medications, including IV drips for various cardiac conditions.
• Assist with procedures such as chest tube placement and removal, and EKG interpretation.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records utilizing the Meditech EMR system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN License with ACLS certification.
• PCU experience with a strong background in cardiac nursing.
• Proficient with IV medications such as heparin, diltiazem, and amiodarone.
