Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical unit provides comprehensive care to a diverse patient population. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patient health, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality medical care.

Responsibilities

• Start IVs, insert Foley catheters, and insert NG tubes.
• Perform EKGs and manage heparin drips.
• Monitor and manage patient conditions in accordance with established protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to create and implement patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience with at least one travel assignment completed.
• Current certifications: NIH, ACLS, BLS.
