Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and quick-learning Travel RN specialized in Oncology to join our Blood Cancer Unit. This unit is focused on providing high-quality care to patients with chronic illnesses in a supportive team environment. You will play a crucial role in administering various treatments and managing patient care with a strong emphasis on quality measures.

Responsibilities

• Provide thorough nursing care to oncology patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Administer medications, including blood and electrolyte replacements.
• Perform essential procedures such as lumbar punctures and bone marrow biopsies.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
• Participate in education provided for handling hazardous drugs and excreta.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess a valid RN license.
• Compassion and ability to work with chronic oncology patients.
• Preferred certification in chemotherapy and biotherapy.
• Experience in step-down care is beneficial.
