7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 36 hours a week, every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients. The ideal candidate will have previous ICU experience and possess strong critical thinking and communication skills. You will be responsible for patient assessments, creating and implementing care plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions in the ICU.
• Provide critical patient care and administer medications as required.
• Perform advanced procedures such as central line placements, arterial line placements, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and intubation.
• Document patient care activities in the Meditech system.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to enhance patient care and resolve issues.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure in the state of Tennessee.
• ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications are required.
• Must have ICU experience with strong critical thinking skills.
