7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend required, 36 hours per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Post-Operative Cardiac Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. The nurse will provide care for patients recovering from CABG, vascular, and general cardiac surgeries. Expertise in managing cardiac drips, electrolyte replacements, chest tubes, and pacing wires is essential to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to post-operative cardiac patients.
• Manage and monitor cardiac drips/titrations and electrolyte replacement.
• Oversee the care of chest tubes, epicardial pacing wires, and TR Bands.
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Experience with post-operative CABGs, vascular, and general cardiac patient populations.
• Knowledge of cardiac drips/titration and electrolyte management.
• Current certifications in BLS, ALS, and EKG interpretation.
