Day Shift: 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-call responsibilities.

Job Description

The Operating Room Registered Nurse will work within a fast-paced environment, providing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures. The unit consists of 14 operating rooms including 2 CVORs and 12 general surgery ORs, supported by a team of 8 RNs and 8 Surgical Technologists. The RN will be responsible for circulating duties and will collaborate closely with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the operating room.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to manage patient care effectively.
• Monitor patient vitals during surgery and respond to changes as needed.
• Assist in the coordination of surgical site preparation and instrument setup.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years OR Circulating experience in an acute care hospital.
• Varied skill set in General Surgery, ENT, Uro/Gyn, Ortho, and Robotics.
• BLS Certification is required.
• CNOR Certification and CVOR experience preferred.
