Registered Nurse - NOC Shift

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will assess, implement, and evaluate care needed by assigned patients under the direction of the licensed physician. The RN is knowledgeable about principles, theories, current methods, and techniques of nursing practice. Utilizing the nursing process, the RN collaborates with the patient, patient's family member(s)/significant others, professional peers, and other members of the health care team to individualize patient care. The RN will also direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care according to the standards of nursing practice, as well as administrative and departmental policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care needs.
• Implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
• Provide direction to nursing support staff.
• Maintain knowledge of current nursing practices and standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• 1 year of experience in area of clinical specialty is preferred.
• PA Registered Nurse License is required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.

Schedule

This position is a NOC shift, working 12-hour hours.
