Job Description

The MedSurg RN will provide care for patients with renal conditions in both permanent and temporary settings. Responsibilities include maintaining patient care standards, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and providing ongoing assessments and treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of MedSurg experience, particularly in renal care.
• BLS certification required.
• Active South Carolina RN license or compact license necessary prior to start.
