Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating care needed by assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician. The RN is knowledgeable about nursing principles, theories, methods, and techniques. Using the nursing process, the RN collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare team members to individualize patient care and directs nursing support staff in provision of care according to nursing practice standards and policies.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and create individualized care plans.
• Implement and evaluate patient care under the supervision of a physician.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required)
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
• 1 year experience in a clinical specialty area (preferred)
• PA Registered Nurse License (required)
• Basic Life Support certification (required)
• Multi State Compact RN License (required)
