This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift available, Monday through Friday, with staggering start times between 6:30 AM and 8:00 AM. No holidays or weekend shifts required.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Pediatric Echo Tech to perform echocardiograms on pediatric patients. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of complex congenital heart defects and demonstrate proficiency in scanning pediatric echocardiograms.

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric echocardiograms with accuracy and proficiency.
• Utilize GE Vivid 95 equipment and PACS systems to enter full reports.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of complex heart disease and defects.
• Work collaboratively at both SJCH and SMP North Charleston clinic.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of pediatric echocardiography experience preferred.
• Registered Pediatric Sonographer (ARDMS) with PE certification or CCI with RCCS certification required at time of start.
• BLS certification required.
• Proficient in scanning pediatric echocardiograms and knowledgeable about complex heart diseases.
• Previous experience with GE Vivid 95 and PACS systems is preferred.
