Job Description

The Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) will provide crucial care to patients in the Medical Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in Medical Surgical nursing, with a patient ratio of 6:1. The nurse will be responsible for floating to other Medical Surgical units as needed during their shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Coordinate with other units as required and assist in patient transfers.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN License
• BLS Certification (AHA or ARC)
• ACLS Certification (AHA or ARC)
• A minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Proof of all required titers must be provided at the time of submission
