Schedule

4x10-hour shifts from 07:00 to 17:30. On-call requirements include 4-6 calls within a 6-week matrix, with a 30-minute response time. Weekend shifts cover 4-6 weekends within a 6-week matrix and may be scheduled across days, evenings, or nights.

Job Description

The Surgical Technologist will be responsible for assisting in surgical operations, specifically in robotics, vascular, and thoracic surgeries. The candidate must possess a skilled background in multi-specialties including orthopedic and general surgery, and have the ability to demonstrate efficient surgical practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during operations, ensuring a sterile environment.
• Prepare surgical instruments and equipment.
• Manage instruments during surgery and provide them to surgeons as needed.
• Monitor patient conditions before, during, and after surgical procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in multi-specialties including Ortho, Thoracic, Vascular, and Robotics.
• Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC.
• Level I Trauma experience required.
• Must be COVID-19 vaccinated; medical/religious exemptions allowed.
