ED/Medsurg RN

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

6pm to 6am, with weekends required on a rotation of every third weekend.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality nursing care in both the Emergency Department (ED) and Medical-Surgical (Medsurg) settings. This role requires flexibility and the ability to float between departments as needed, ensuring that all patients receive exceptional care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ED and Medsurg units.
• Monitor patient progress and assess their needs effectively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal care.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Cerner EMR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
• TNCC preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with a patient ratio of 1:4 in critical care settings.
