Registered Nurse - Med/Surg - Night Shift

Schedule

Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, requiring 3 shifts per week, including 2 weekends per 4-week schedule.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Med/Surg unit, where you will provide compassionate care to patients and their families. The ideal candidate will possess strong Med/Surg experience, be adaptable in a fast-paced environment, and excel in patient interaction. You will actively participate in bedside shift reporting and work towards creating personal connections with patients to involve them in their care plan.

Responsibilities

• Deliver attentive and compassionate care to patients and families.
• Conduct bedside shift reporting with emphasis on patient engagement.
• Maintain standards of patient care in accordance with unit guidelines.
• Utilize available technology and equipment effectively in patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Experience in Med/Surg nursing.
• Ability to prioritize care and multitask in a clinical setting.
• Skills in starting IVs, basic wound care, and managing various medical devices.
