Job Description

The Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for both scrub and circulate duties within a 30-bed operating room unit dedicated to pediatric patients ranging from newborn to 17 years old. The ideal candidate will have extensive pediatric and general OR experience, including experience with robotic surgery and working in a pediatric setting.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate for various pediatric surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure a safe and effective surgical environment.
• Participate in on-call duties as scheduled.
• Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with a focus on Operating Room.
• Pediatric general OR and general OR experience required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• WV or compact RN license; pending licenses accepted if active upon start.
• No first-time travelers accepted.
• Candidates must have a permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility to submit.
