Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, every other weekend required, with 3 out of 6 holidays required.

Job Description

Our Emergency Department (ED) RNs must be ready to care for patients when they need us most. In addition to providing specialized and innovative services, we need our ED RNs to be equipped to handle an array of emergency situations for patients of all ages. Our Emergency Department nurses are trained in dealing with a variety of trauma situations requiring quick and decisive actions.

Responsibilities

• Quickly and accurately assess incoming patients with both physical and mental health conditions.
• Prioritize patient injuries and medical needs accordingly.
• Formulate effective nursing care plans based on clinical knowledge and analytical abilities.
• Effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 18 months of nursing experience working in an ED environment.
• ED experience within the past six months is required.
• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
• BLS-AHA, ACLS, Telemetry, PALS, NIHSS, CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours certification.
• Demonstrated level of performance and practice is required.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
