Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Department Nurse with experience in a Level 2 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center. This position requires a teamwork mentality and the ability to provide real-time feedback and coaching. The successful candidate should possess flexibility to work in all areas of the Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in triage and cardiac monitoring as required
• Maintain documentation and patient records in the Cerner system
• Offer respectful and compassionate care to all patients, ensuring their needs are met

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an emergency room setting
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications before the start date
• ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire
• Experience in a high-volume emergency department (100,000 visits annually) preferred
