Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for the overall nursing practice of the unit during the assigned shift. This includes providing professional nursing care using the nursing process, which encompasses assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Collect and document patient health data systematically and ongoing.
• Analyze assessment data to determine nursing diagnoses.
• Identify expected outcomes tailored to individual patient needs.
• Develop individualized plans of care with appropriate interventions.
• Implement nursing interventions as per the established plan of care.
• Evaluate patient progress toward desired outcomes and modify plans as necessary.
• Participate in quality improvement activities related to nursing care.
• Maintain professional knowledge and participate in ongoing education.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to coordinate care.
• Contribute to the professional development of peers.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• EPIC patient charting experience preferred.
• Completion of Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (HCP BLS) within four months of the end of probation.
