Nights from 8:00 PM to 8:30 AM, every other weekend and every other holiday are required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department (ER) will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in critical conditions, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. This position requires strong critical thinking skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
• Respond to emergency situations as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience required.
• Active New Jersey RN License (must be in hand at the time of application).
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS required.
• Flu Immunization: Mandatory unless a valid medical exemption with supporting documentation is provided.
