Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Progressive Care Neuro Trauma Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in telemetry step-down units and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment catering to patients with neuro trauma conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in the Neuro Trauma unit with a patient ratio of 4:1.
• Utilize bedside monitors and specialized equipment including end tidal O2 monitoring, high flow, chronic vents, and subdural drains.
• Perform procedures such as chest tubes and EEGs as needed.
• Collaborate with a team of RNs and aides to deliver the highest quality of care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ACLS & BLS required.
• Telemetry step-down experience is a must.
• Preferred experience in neuro and trauma care.
• NHISS and TNCC certifications are nice to have.
