Registered Nurse - Cardiac/Vascular Unit Night Shift

Schedule

12-hour night shifts, three nights per week, with a requirement to work every other weekend and holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac and Vascular unit. The ideal candidate will provide care to post-operative patients including those who have undergone cardiac surgeries and vascular procedures. This role requires strong cardiac/vascular experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer care to patients recovering from cardiac and vascular surgeries.
• Monitor patients and titrate medications as needed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and post-operative recovery.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in good standing.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Experience in cardiac and vascular care preferred.
