Job Description

The primary purpose of your job is to assist and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during your tour of duty. Such activities must comply with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility. You will work under the direction of the Director of Nursing to ensure that the highest degree of total quality care is maintained at all times.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising nursing activities during the assigned shift.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.
• Provide rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices as needed.
• Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with facility policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other comparable institution.
• Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
• Current LPN licensure in the state of Colorado.
• IV certification preferred for LPNs.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) check required.
