Job Description

Join our dedicated nursing team in a dynamic 20-bed Orthopedic Unit, providing exceptional care to a diverse patient population including elective orthopedic patients and orthopedic trauma cases. We are looking for a skilled and independent Registered Nurse who can efficiently manage a patient load of 5 while following our established protocols to drive great patient experiences and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and develop care plans for orthopedic patients.
• Administer medications and manage pain effectively.
• Conduct dressing changes and aspirations as needed.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Communicate clearly and positively with patients and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse with experience in surgical units.
• Must be able to manage a patient load of 5 independently.
• Experience in pain management and orthopedic care is preferred.
