Job Description

The Orthopedic Unit is seeking a dedicated Travel RN to join our nursing team. This unit, with 20 beds, provides care for a diverse patient population comprising elective orthopedic surgeries and orthopedic trauma cases. Our facility prides itself on great teamwork and a commitment to enhancing patient experiences and achieving quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, managing a 1:5 patient-to-nurse ratio.
• Assist in performing dressing changes and aspirations.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Utilize EMR (Meditech) for patient documentation and management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid nursing license and BLS certification.
• Experience in an independent surgical unit managing 5 patients.
