Job Description

Join our busy medical floor that specializes in caring for surgical flap patients and patients experiencing spinal cord injuries with stage 4 wounds requiring surgical intervention. We partner with our burn unit to provide care for low-acuity burn patients. The unit features 33 rooms with capacity for up to 49 patients, accommodating both private and semi-private rooms as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on a bustling Med Surg unit.
• Perform wound care and assist with bowel programs as required.
• Monitor telemetry and maintain records using Meditech EMR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must be a registered nurse with a background in Med/Surg.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in spinal cord injury care is preferred.
