Shifts are from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with rotating weekends required.

Job Description

Join our high-acuity COVID ICU team, focusing on advanced interventions including VV ECMO. Be part of a facility that prioritizes patient-centered care and uses cutting-edge technology to enhance recovery.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the COVID ICU.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in health status.
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment, including ECMO and CRRT.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses not accepted)
• 2+ years of ICU experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• NIHSS certification
• Comfortable with vasoactive drips and a strong understanding of hemodynamics.
