Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse specializing in ICU. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients. You will be expected to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to ICU patients, including those on ventilators and vasoactive drips
• Monitor patient status and report any changes to the medical team
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Utilize Cerner for documentation and patient management
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe patient care

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Alabama or Multistate Registered Nurse license with no prior NURSYS hits
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU RN experience
• Must reside 50+ miles from the facility
• Experience with vented patients and vasoactive drips is essential
• Cerner experience preferred
