Four 10-hour day shifts, with occasional day shifts and call requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled RN Circulator to join a busy ENT/Pedi/Plastics team at an Academic Level 1 Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in the OR setting and be comfortable with precepting. Cases will include neck dissections, free flap repair, diep flaps, pediatric general and thoracic surgery, airway management, OMFS, and dental surgery.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a variety of surgical procedures in a fast-paced environment.
• Precept and mentor less experienced staff as needed.
• Maintain a sterile environment and follow safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 2 years of OR experience, with ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, or Trauma experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• PALS preferred but not necessary.
• AORN certification is a plus.
