Job Description

We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with a valid certificate from NBSTSA and BLS certification. The position requires flexibility for call duties, with expectations of taking call at least two days each week and 1-2 weekends every 6-week schedule based on facility needs. This role will involve supporting surgical teams in various procedures and ensuring a safe and sterile environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures as a first assist.
• Maintain a sterile environment and manage surgical instruments.
• Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in pre-operative and post-operative care.
• Float to other units as necessary based on patient census.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a surgical environment.
• Certification from NBSTSA and current BLS certification required.
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
• Willingness to float to various units and/or campuses as required.
