Respiratory Therapist - Level 3 NICU Experience

Nights, 7 PM - 7 AM, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist delivers Cardiopulmonary Services and is responsible for following protocols approved by medical staff and department policy and procedures to provide timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatients and outpatients.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures.
• Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas.
• Maintain airways and manage ventilators.
• Insert arterial lines and perform intubations.
• Conduct pulmonary function studies and cardiac/pulmonary stress tests.
• Perform blood gas analyses.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1+ years of Level 3 NICU or higher experience.
• Associates degree in a relevant field.
• Licensed to practice in Arkansas.
• Current AHA or ARC certifications: BLS, PALS, NRP, and ACLS.
• Permanent residence must be 50+ miles from the facility.
