Job Description

We are seeking a Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse with a minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience. The ideal candidate will possess a permanent Ohio RN license or a Compact State license and must be able to work at least every other holiday.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and ECG rhythms
• Provide education and support to patients and their families
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license required at the time of submission
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation
• One reference from a supervisor or manager in the specialty is required
