Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in a dynamic step down and med surg unit with a total of 39 beds. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to patients, including those with trachs, chest tubes, and cardiac drips. Must be flexible and demonstrate a high level of clinical competence.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients in step down and med surg units.
• Perform trach care, chest tube management, and wound dressing changes.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Use various medical equipment, including lifts and ventilators, as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Experience working with trachs is a must.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Previous experience with Cerner is preferred.
