Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse - Float Pool

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to join our float pool. The qualified candidate will be expected to float to various medical-surgical areas as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical units.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate health records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing.
• Active and valid nursing license verified through Nursys.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system.
• Completed skills checklist and work history with no gaps greater than 60 days.
• References and certification cards must be provided upon request.
