Surgical Technologist - Neuro and Thoracic Experience Required

12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, Monday to Friday.

Job Description

The Surgical Technologist will provide assistance during surgical procedures in the Main Surgical Unit at the Northside Atlanta Campus. The unit is open 24/7 and handles a variable case volume ranging between 28 to 55 cases per day. The service lines include Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Urology, General Surgery, and Thoracic Surgery. The facility is equipped with 3 DaVinci XI robots for various surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room and sterile instruments.
• Assist the surgical team during operations.
• Maintain a sterile environment throughout the procedure.
• Manage surgical supplies efficiently.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the surgical specialty
• Current BLS certification
• Recent experience in Neuro and Thoracic surgeries is essential
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health record system
