Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN) - Night Shift

Schedule

Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Must work 2 out of 3 holidays.

Job Description

The Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN) will provide care to a patient population with various medical surgical needs. The nurse will work within a team, maintaining a nurse to patient ratio of 1:6 and ensuring quality patient care is delivered efficiently. Recent experience with Epic is required to facilitate patient charting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical/surgical setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Implement isolation precautions and manage peripheral lines.
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of inpatient med/surg experience.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Epic experience within the last 6 months is mandatory.
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility (locals not accepted).
